Human Non-Parenchymal Cells (NPC)
Growing evidence indicates that under both normal and pathological conditions, many hepatocyte functions are regulated by substances released from neighboring non-parenchymal cells (NPCs). These cells, particularly Kupffer cells, play a crucial role in modulating xenobiotic metabolism in the liver. Tridix Bio human NPCs, isolated from liver tissue, are composed of Kupffer cells, liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs), stellate cells, and other cell types. This product is ideally suited for liver cell co-culture applications.
